Whitbread Group PLC appointed us their Approved Inspector to provide Building Control services on their ‘ZIP by Premier Inn’ alterations.

The existing hotel was renovated to create additional ‘stripped back’ 8.5m2 bedrooms for customers who prefer a ‘simple stay’, some of the rooms feature lightboxes instead of windows and flexible bed formats.

We attended regular design meetings to discuss Building Regulations and collaborated with their design teams, ensuring that compliance was met for this unique hotel concept.
