Originally appointed by Buro Four — Project, Design and Development Managers —to provide Building Control services on this project.

The development includes 332,000 sq. ft. of office space, 34,000 sq. ft. of private residential space and 10,000 sq. ft. of dedicated affordable residential space. There is 14,000 sq. ft. allocated to retail too. Some of the developments key features include two reception areas, private terraces three large central atria.

We are fortunate to have worked on other Derwent London projects including The White Collar Factory Old Street London and the Tea Building.

‘We’ve worked on a number of significant commercial Derwent London projects across the capital and are pleased to add their property —80 Charlotte Street to our growing portfolio.
I believe that Derwent London see’s us a trusted member of the team and we hope this relationship grows as Derwent London adds to their own portfolio.’

*The design of 80 Charlotte Street is a homage to the Constructivist artists who lived in Fitzrovia in the 1950s and ‘60s. These included Victor Pasmore, Kenneth & Mary Martin, Anthony Hill and Adrian Heath, whose studio was at 22 Fitzroy Street. Grids and frames are the centrepiece of the development’s structure, while the use of materials like brick, steel and zinc complete the visual language. These are materials that will change with time, becoming more beautiful and interesting.
