We are delighted to announce that after 4 weeks of continuous running, walking, dancing and general motivational stepping throughout December last year, our energetic teams in both Chelmsford and Barnsley, have raised a collective £425 for 5 chosen charities.

This was truly a united team effort every step of the way and after calculating all teams’ steps, a massive 4M total steps were taken between us all which equates to 2829km, 1757miles or walking from Lands’ End to John O’Groats 5 times!!

The group of charities that we are donating to include Thornberry Animal Sanctuary – a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and rehoming animals in the South Yorkshire region; Weston Park – a charity striving to improve the lives of people living with cancer; Adfam – a London based charity that provides support and advice for families affected by drugs and alcohol; Firefly – a Doncaster based cancer charity aimed at raising awareness of cancer and last but not least Barnsley Hospice – a charity which provides specialist compassionate care to hundreds of local people every year from all over Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

Well done to everyone who tenaciously took part and completed our 2018 Step Challenge despite the cold wintery weather and temptation to hibernate after work which ultimately raised money for our chosen charities.
